Legal

Terms & Conditions

Effective / last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms govern access to the website, admissions process and digital learning services provided by Lex Orbis Education (OPC) Private Limited.

1. Provider and scope

These terms govern use of the website, admissions process and educational services provided by Lex Orbis Education (OPC) Private Limited ("Lex Orbis Education"). Lex Orbis Education provides online educational content, course guidance, recorded or live learning resources and programme support. Programme availability, batch dates, duration and delivery format may vary by course.

2. User responsibilities and account security

Users must provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential, use the learning platform lawfully and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Course access is personal to the enrolled learner and may not be transferred, shared, resold or made available to another person unless Lex Orbis Education expressly permits it in writing. Users are responsible for activity occurring through credentials under their control, subject to applicable law.

3. Limited educational licence

Payment or enrolment grants an authorised learner a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access the relevant programme for personal educational use during the applicable access period. It does not transfer ownership of any lecture, recording, manuscript, notes, slides, question bank, test, template, graphic, software, source code, database, brand asset or other intellectual property.

4. Intellectual property and anti-piracy

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise or Lex Orbis Education provides prior written permission, users may not copy, record, reproduce, scrape, systematically extract, mirror, republish, distribute, rebroadcast, upload, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit or create substitute repositories from protected course or platform content. Users must not remove or obscure ownership notices or personalised watermarks, share credentials to enable unauthorised access, or circumvent technical access controls. The detailed Copyright, Intellectual Property & Anti-Piracy Policy forms part of these terms.

5. Watermarking, access controls and security evidence

Protected learner areas may use account-linked identifiers, personalised watermarks, access logs, private storage, copy/print restrictions, no-cache delivery and other proportionate controls intended to deter unauthorised sharing and preserve evidence of misuse. Security identifiers and logs will be handled consistently with the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Technical controls do not guarantee that copying is physically impossible and do not waive legal rights if a control is absent or bypassed.

6. Downloads and permitted personal use

Where a resource is expressly made downloadable, the download remains licensed only for the enrolled learner's authorised personal educational use unless a different written licence is supplied. Download permission does not permit posting to messaging groups, cloud drives for shared access, social-media channels, marketplaces, course-sharing sites, repositories or competing learning platforms. Statutory exceptions and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

7. Course changes and availability

Lex Orbis Education may reasonably update syllabi, modules, schedules, faculty arrangements, delivery methods or supporting materials to reflect examination changes, legal developments, academic improvements or operational requirements. Material changes affecting an enrolled batch will be communicated through the available learner or admissions channels wherever reasonably practicable.

8. Fees, pricing and enrolment

The fee displayed on the applicable programme or payment page at the time of enrolment, together with any written programme-specific offer or confirmation, governs the amount payable. Statutory taxes or third-party examination, registration or regulatory fees are separate unless expressly stated otherwise. Enrolment is activated only after required payment and verification steps are completed.

9. Refunds and cancellations

Refund and cancellation requests are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any programme-specific written terms disclosed before or at enrolment. Nothing in these terms limits any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

10. Examination and outcome disclaimer

Lex Orbis Education aims to provide accurate, structured and useful educational support, but does not guarantee examination results, qualification, admission, employment, professional recognition, ranking or any particular outcome. Learners should verify current eligibility, syllabus, dates and regulatory requirements with the relevant official examination, university, court, professional or statutory authority.

11. Privacy, communications and enforcement

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By submitting an enquiry or enrolling in a programme, users may receive service, admissions and course-related communications through the contact methods they provide, subject to their consent choices and applicable law. Credible evidence of credential sharing, piracy or circumvention may result in evidence preservation, proportionate account restriction or termination, takedown requests or pursuit of remedies available under applicable law, subject to mandatory rights and due process.

12. Availability, governing law and disputes

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website and learning services available and accurate. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, internet or third-party service failures, security events or circumstances outside reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Parties should first attempt to resolve concerns through good-faith written communication. Unresolved disputes will be subject to courts, tribunals or other forums having jurisdiction under applicable law. Mandatory statutory, consumer and copyright exceptions remain unaffected.

Programme-specific written terms, fee confirmations and admissions communications form part of the enrolment terms for the relevant programme. Please review them before payment.
